Top-Tier Law School Terminates Accelerated JD Program

Northwestern Law School Dean Daniel B. Rodriguez has announced the top-tier institution’s indefinite suspension of its accelerated JD program. So reports Above The Law.

The program, which began in 2009, allowed students to complete the same number of credit hours as traditional three-year JD students in five semesters over the course of two calendar years. Above The Law writer Elie Mystal opines that program’s price—the same amount as it cost students enrolled in Northwestern Law’s traditional three-year program—was the primary reason for its demise.
