JOCO to Remain Operational as NYC Challenges New Bike-share Service

JOCO, a privately-run bike share in New York City, will be allowed to continue to operate as litigation challenging its services proceeds. So reports the The New York Post.

CitibikeThe service, a competitor of Citi Bike, which has an exclusive contract with the city, operates in opposition to state and city law, says New York’s Department of Transportation. The company’s founders said the fact that their bikes are kept on private property means they are, in fact, operating within the scope of the law.
