Washington State’s Culp Backs Away from Election Fraud Claims

Republican Loren Culp, who lost the race for governor of Washington, is backing away from allegations of “widespread election irregularities and fraud.” So reports The Seattle Times.

ballot 1294935 640 smallAs such, Culp has dropped a lawsuit filed in King County Superior Court against Secretary of State Kim Wyman to that end. Culp had originally argued Gov. Jay Inslee’s 545,000-vote win was tainted by fraud and “intolerable voting anomalies.” However, upon threat of sanctions for making claims without merit, Culp’s attorney Stephen Pidgeon withdrew the suit.
