Amazon Accused of Collusion with 'Big Five' Over eBook Sales

Amazon.com was hit with a class-action lawsuit accusing it of “colluding” with top publishers to inflate eBook prices. So reports Reuters.

amazonAmazon and the publishers allegedly “agreed to price restraints that cause consumers to overpay for eBooks purchased from them through a retail platform other than Amazon.com.” Close to 90% of all eBooks are sold via Amazon. Representatives from the company had no comment on the suit.
