John Pierce is raising money in preparation for what he said is likely “the most significant case of defamation” in U.S. history. Rittenhouse has been charged with “intentional, reckless and attempted homicide” after shooting multiple people during the protests and unrest in Kenosha following the death of Jacob Blake at the hands of the police.
Pierce said there will be "thousands" of lawsuits against people like Joe Biden, U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and even actor Mark Ruffalo, as well as companies like Facebook and CNN. At issue, according to Pierce, is that some have characterized Rittenhouse as a "white supremacist" or a "mass murderer."
