'The Jinx' Subject Robert Durst Sued by Ex-Wife’s Family

Robert Durst, the multimillionaire subject of the shocking HBO documentary “The Jinx,” is being sued by the family of his late ex-wife for violating their right to sepulcher, a law granting family members the immediate right to possession of a body for burial. So reports The New York Times.

The suit alleges that Durst, 72, murdered his 29-year-old wife, Kathleen. In prison in New Orleans since March on a gun charge, Durst has been inundated with legal troubles since the airing of “The Jinx,” which explored his connection to the deaths of Kathleen, Susan Berman, whom Durst allegedly murdered because she witnessed a crime, and a boardinghouse neighbor in Texas.

At the end of the documentary, Durst was caught on a live microphone while in the bathroom whispering: “What the hell did I do? Killed them all, of course.”
