Conde Nast Settles Interns' Claim for $5.8M

The publishing giant Conde Nast settled one of the most recent class action lawsuits against a media or entertainment company for underpaying its interns. The deal was for $5.8 million. So reports Reuters.

In the suit, approximately 7,500 people who worked as interns at Condé Nast glossies like Vanity Fair claimed they were underpaid, or not paid at all. The company discontinued its internship program in 2013, shortly after the suit was filed.
