Hannah's Law Parents Charged Over Benefits

The Minnesota couple whose daughter’s death helped pass Hannah’s Law allegedly received public benefits they were not entitled to, and apparently failed to disclose a nearly $1 million settlement they received after the death of their daughter. So reports the Mankato Free Press.

The couple’s child died at a day care, which ultimately led to the child safety law to be named after her. The 2011 law requires child care teachers and assistant teachers be CPR trained.
