Man Tried for 1994 Nicotine-Poisoning Murder of Wife

An Orange County, Calif., man is on trial for murder and insurance fraud in connection with the death of his wife twenty years ago. So reports The Washington Post.

Prosecutors say that 57-year-old Paul Curry, who collected more than $500,000 in life insurance when his wife died, poisoned her with a fatal dose of nicotine. A new scientific report that was the product of a refreshed investigation in 2007 led to his arrest.
