Cory Booker Got $689K from Gov’t-Linked Law Firm

Newark Mayor Cory Booker's last three tax returns show he was paid $689,000 from 2010 to 2012 by the law firm where he was formerly a partner, the New York Post reports.

The firm, Trenk DiPasquale, over the last few years has earned more than $2 million in fees from government agencies over which Booker had influence. Booker, a Democrat running for U.S. Senate in New Jersey, has repeatedly denied working for Trenk DiPasquale since he took office in 2006, and is now claiming that the tax returns, which state that he completed more than 500 hours of work for Trenk DiPasquale from 2010 to 2012, were completed in error by his accountant.
