Lawyer Prosecuting Sex Assault In the Military Fired Over Email From A Decade Ago

Brig. Gen. Warren Wells, the lawyer chosen to prosecute sexual assault in the military, has been fired due to an email he sent a decade ago apparently belittling victims' claims. So reports Yahoo! News.

Wells’ email was said to have “negatively characterized developments in sexual assault response at the time and was dismissive of the principle of civilian control of the military exercised by both the executive branch and Congress.”
