The company was accused of hiring discrimination regarding asylum seekers and refugees, but Olvera said the case will not move forward since the DOJ administrative judges overseeing the case were “unconstitutionally appointed” and were deemed to “possess authority that only those appointed by the president should have.” In a countersuit, SpaceX said it does not engage in hiring discrimination and has already hired “hundreds of noncitizens.”
