'Bump Stocks' Getting Day in SCOTUS as Circuit Courts Disagree Over Ban  

The U.S. Supreme Court will hear a case that will determine if “bump stocks,” which enable semi-automatic weapons to dramatically increase their rate of fire, are legal. So reports Vox.

supreme court 546279 1920The case, Garland v. Cargill, will test language related to what action is actually required by a shooter to increase a given weapon’s rate of fire. The United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the Fifth Circuit and the Sixth Circuit have all come to differing conclusions regarding the ban.
