Scotch Tape-Maker Settles Drinking Water Lawsuits for $10.B

Post-It note and Scotch Tape manufacturer 3M settled a group of lawsuits alleging it contaminated U.S. water supplies with “forever chemicals” used in some of its products. So reports CNN.

As such, the company will pay $10.3 billion over the next 13 years to water suppliers that detect the chemicals. Last year, the company pledged to stop using the chemicals by 2025.
