White Ex-Starbucks Manager Wins $25.6M in Discrimination Lawsuit  

A federal jury awarded a white former Starbucks regional director $25.6 million after she sued the company for discrimination. So reports ABC News.

starbucksThe ex-manger, Shannon Phillips, said she was terminated after a race-related incident at a Philadelphia store that led to the arrest of two Black men for trespassing. The crux of the lawsuit centered on the fact Phillips was not present at the time of the incident and another district manager, who is Black, was not terminated after the incident.
