The walkout was apparently prompted by an email from the Christian Legal Society that insinuated the recent fatal shooting in Tennessee was fueled by the trans rights movement. Opponents of the group are calling for it, along with the Free Exercise Coalition, to be removed from the campus for allegedly making LGBTQ individuals feel unsafe.
