Quill Pens, Legal Docs from Roe v. Wade Go for $615M+ at Auction  

The archive of legal materials used by Linda Coffee, who argued in the famous 1970 Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court case, sold at auction for $615,633. So reports WFAA Dallas.

dollar 3706548 640 smallIncluded in the archive is an affidavit signed by Norma McCorvey, known as “Jane Roe” in the case, as well as documents, letters and quill pens. Coffee grew up in Texas and once clerked for federal judge Sarah Hughes, known for swearing in Lyndon B. Johnson on Air Force One after President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
