Expelled White Student Alleges Discrimination, Sues Howard University for $2M  

Michael Ray Newman, a white student expelled from the law school at Howard University, is suing the school for alleged “race discrimination and creating a hostile environment.” So reports NBC News.

Howard UniversityNewman is alleging he suffered “emotional, mental and economic harm” as a result of the expulsion and is seeking more than $2 million. The suit centers on events in 2020 involving comments Newman made in a public forum regarding the Black community and its relationship with the government, among other instances.
