Abortion Pill Lawsuit in Texas District Presents Uphill Battle for Biden Admin: Expert  

Conservative advocates in Texas have challenged the federal government’s approval of the abortion pill. So reports Reuters.

Texas abstract 2726482 640smallThe lawsuit alleges the U.S. Food and Drug Administration “exceeded its authority by approving mifepristone, which is used in combination with misoprostol for medication abortions up until the 10th week of pregnancy.” The lawsuit was filed in Amarillo, and pro-choice advocates pointed out the sole U.S. judge in that district, Matthew Kacsmary, has a history of blocking President Joe Biden’s agenda.
