Milford Residents Challenge Constitutionality of Airbnb Rules  

Two Ohio residents are suing the city of Milford after claiming ordinance regulating Airbnb rentals is unconstitutional. So reports the Cincinnati Enquirer.

airbnbIn June, the city passed a measure prohibiting “non-owner-occupied residential property as short-term or vacation rentals,” among other requirements. Representatives for residents Tara Menkhaus and Linda Cassidy said the new laws threaten private property rights and they are “severely restricted in attempting to sell their short-term rental homes to others seeking to continue that use.”
