NRA Unsuccessful Again in Getting Judge to Dismiss NYAG Lawsuit

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Joel Cohen rejected an effort by the National Rifle Association to avoid the New York Attorney General’s lawsuit against the lobbying group. So reports Law & Crime.

NRAThe suit aims, among other things, to remove Wayne LaPierre, the group’s CEO and executive vice president, and bar him from not-for-profit work in New York. The attorney general’s office alleges the group engaged in “greed, self-dealing, and lax financial oversight at the highest levels.”
