Activision Blizzard Suit Takes Sharp Turn

Janette Wipper, a top civil rights attorney in California, was terminated amidst a high-profile discrimination case involving video game maker Activision Blizzard. So reports the Associated Press.

Activision BlizzardAdditionally, Melanie Proctor, an assistant working on the case, resigned in protest just days later after accusing Gov. Gavin Newsom of interfering with the suit. No reason was provided for the termination, however, Wipper is apparently considering filing a whistleblower protection lawsuit.
