South Dakota Hotel Facing Lawsuit for Refusing to Book Rooms to Native Americans  

Indigenous rights organizations in South Dakota filed a lawsuit against the Grand Gateway Hotel alleging the lodge refused service to two Indigenous women and threatened to ban Native Americans from its property. So reports CNN.

Grand Gateway HotelA shooting involving a 19-year-old Native American had taken place on the property prior to the purported booking refusal. The lawsuit has been filed in the US District Court for the District of South Dakota Western Division.
