Acquitted Wu-Tang, Alicia Keys Producer Files Wrongful Imprisonment Suit

Derrick Harris, a music producer who has worked with Alicia Keys, Wu-Tang Clan and Busta Rhymes, is suing New York City and the NYPD alleging he was wrongfully imprisoned. So reports Bloomberg.

prison icon 2071965 640 smallAn attorney representing Harris, who was arrested on sexual assault charges, said evidence against his client was fabricated and he spent four years in Rikers Island after his arrest and ahead of his trial. Harris suffered a skull fracture while imprisoned and was eventually acquitted on all charges he was facing.
