Georgetown Law Professor Apologizes for Calling Student 'Chinaman'

Georgetown Law Professor Franz Werro wrote a letter apologizing for using hurtful language referring to an Asian student whose name he did not know. So reports The Washington Post.

georgetown lawStudents asked the university to address “deeply embedded” issues at the law school after Werro apparently called one of his students “Chinaman” during class. The professor said he was unaware of the impact of the word as he is not a native English speaker.
