Retail Traders’ Lawsuit Against Robinhood for GME, AMC Halt Thrown Out  

A federal judge tossed a lawsuit brought against stock trading app Robinhood alleging it cost traders “billions” in losses when the app prohibited the selling of certain “meme stocks.” So reports The New York Post.

RobinhoodChief U.S. District Judge Cecilia Altonaga based her ruling on the user agreement traders accepted when registering their accounts. That agreement includes a clause that states Robinhood “may at any time, in its sole discretion and without prior notice to me, prohibit or restrict my ability to trade securities.”
