Details Emerge from Kansas Lawmaker’s DUI Arrest

Details of the arrest of Kansas Senate Majority Leader Gene Suellentrop have emerged as Highway Patrol Trooper Austin Shepley recently submitted an affidavit with respect to the incident. So reports The Hill.

Police siren blue light 4165414 640.jpegSuellentrop allegedly had a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit at 0.17% and called the trooper a “donut boy” during the incident. Suellentrop has been charged with “driving under influence of drugs or alcohol, fleeing or attempting to flee from a law enforcement officer, speeding and improperly crossing a divided highway,” according to the article.
