Lawyer Looks to Ditch Trump As Client After President’s 'Repugnant' Behavior

A lawyer representing the President’s interests in a Pennsylvania-based campaign lawsuit has asked to withdraw after calling President Donald Trump’s actions criminal and “repugnant” with respect to the violence in Washington, D.C. So reports Politico.

trump 3123765 640Jerome Marcus asked to be removed from the case after condemning the January 6 chaos in Washington D.C., specifically referring to the president’s calls for a “wild protest” in response to claims of elections fraud. Marcus was arguing a case in federal court alleging the Philadelphia County Board of Elections did not allow representatives from the Republican Party and Trump to monitor ballot tallying.
