Rep. Jerry Connolly: Rename George Mason Law School to Honor Ginsburg

Virginia Rep. Gerry Connolly is pushing for the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University to change its name in honor of the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg. So reports the Potomac Local News.

George MasonConnolly suggested the name be changed to the Scalia-Ginsburg School of Law and a statue of Ginsburg be constructed facing Scalia. The congressman argued the gesture would signify “there are competing views of the law and no one view will dominate George Mason University’s academic studies.” The school has not yet reacted to the suggestion as of press time.
