The lawsuit comes after violent protests hit the city in response to Jacob Blake being shot by police and claims militia groups were successfully able to use Facebook to broadcast a “call to arms” that Rittenhouse allegedly answered. Facebook, though, states it does not have evidence the shooter was following the page issuing the "call to arms."
“The lawsuit also argues that the deaths could have been prevented had Facebook taken action, saying the social media giant ‘received more than 400 warnings that what did happen was going to occur,’” the article reads.
