NFL's RG III Dodges Commission Bill as Clock Runs Out on Lawsuit

Sports agent Ben Dogra has missed his window to recover unpaid commissions from Baltimore Ravens reserve quarterback Robert Griffin III. So reports the St Louis Post-Dispatch.

nfl 3644686 640smallDogra sued Griffin last year, claiming the former star owes him hundreds of thousands of dollars for his work negotiating endorsement deals from 2014 to 2016. However, U.S. District Judge Stephen R. Clark said the two year statute of limitations for such a case has passed. It is unclear who Griffin was on the hook to pay as a result of initial arbitration, Dogra or the agent’s former employer CAA Sports, which lead to additional legal actions.
