The scheme alleges the winners were defrauded out of $107 million, which ultimately was used to generate kickbacks and “enrich themselves.” Amid a bevy of other charges, two of the associates are also accused of threatening to “torture, shoot and kill a man's wife and children for not paying back a loan on time.”

'Lottery Lawyer' Accused of Massive Fraud
Attorney, Jason "Jay" Kurland, who goes by the moniker “Lottery Lawyer,” along with three associates, are charged with crimes related to defrauding lottery winners out of millions of dollars they thought were being invested on their behalf. So reports CNN.
