AP Students Hit College Board with $500M Suit Over New Online Exams

High school students who experienced technical trouble with their Advanced Placement exams are suing the College Board after being told they will need to retake the tests. So reports Colorado Public Radio.

laptop 3087585 640Normally, the exams are administered in person over three-hour intervals, but due to school closures, a 45-minute online version was developed. Students are suing for more than $500 million in economic relief as the suit alleges “breach of contract, gross negligence, misrepresentation and violations of the Americans With Disabilities Act,” according to the article.
