Happy ‘Little Trees’ at Heart of Bob Ross, Car-Freshener Lawsuit

Car-Freshner is suing Bob Ross Inc. for trademark infringement after it began selling “Little Tree” air fresheners. So reports Syracuse.com.

The lawsuit was filed against the late painter’s namesake company as well as merchandiser Surreal Entertainment. Car-Freshner argued the fresheners are too similar to their products and hired Syracuse law firm Bond Schoeneck & King to represent it.

Car-Freshner asked for damages “three times the amount of the defendants' profits on the air fresheners, as well as attorney's fees."
