Novartis General Counsel Resigns Because of Michael Cohen Contract

Felix Ehrat, general counsel for Swiss drug maker Novartis, will step down for his part in arranging a contract with President Trump's attorney, Michael Cohen. So reports Politico

The company paid $1.2 million to Cohen so it could understand "how the president might approach healthcare policy in the U.S." The company's CEO acknowledged the contract was a mistake, while Ehrat echoed the sentiment but pointed out it was "legally in order."

Other companies, like AT&T, had a similar arrangement with Cohen.
