Doorman Sues Employer After Making Grisly Discovery on the Job

A New York City doorman has filed suit against his former employer for failing to accommodate his request for time off after finding a tenant dead and covered in blood. So reports The New York Daily News.

The doorman, Julius Booker, found the body of the tenant, Sailor Tindall, who committed suicide, after Tindall’s mom called and asked Booker to check on her. His suit seeks compensation for the “severe emotional distress” he allegedly suffered when—after discovering Tindall—he requested time off or a transfer and his employer refused.
