Fla. Teen Posing as Physician Is Arrested For Forging Checks

A Florida teen with no medical credentials was arrested on charges of fraud and larceny after charging a woman complaining of stomach pains $3,494 for home visits and cleaning out her bank account. So reports NBC News.

The alleged victim contacted the teen, 19-year-old Malachi Love-Robinson, over the Internet. After calling her an ambulance and suggesting she leave her purse behind, he forged checks for more than $30,000 on her account. Love-Robinson was first arrested in February after an undercover agent complaining of a sore throat visited him at an office where he claimed to be a doctor of homeopathic medicine.
