After serving almost three years in prison for attacking former Falcons cheerleader Shayla Stevens with a rum bottle in a 2007 night club incident, the rapper known as Da Brat was recently ordered to pay Stevens $3.7 million in compensatory damages and $2.7 million in punitive damages by the Georgia jury who heard Stevens’s civil case against her.
