NY Ends Solitary Confinement for 21-Year-Old Inmates

New York will no longer subject inmates who are 21 and younger to solitary confinement, a punishment that research has shown to be particularly damaging to teenagers and young adults because of their still-developing brains. So reports The New York Times.
