Appeals Panel Tosses $27.5M Taxi-dismemberment Suit

A five-judge appeals panel tossed out a $27.5 million lawsuit filed by injured British tourist Sian Green, agreeing with a lower-court ruling that Green was unable to provide “facts sufficient to show a special duty owed by the city to her.” So reports The New York Post.
