Transgender Teen’s Lawsuit Results in DMV Policy Change

As the result of its settlement agreement with a 17-year-old transgender teen, the South Carolina DMV will now allow everyone to be photographed "the way they appear regularly, even when [it] doesn't match the DMV's expectations of how a man or a woman should look."
