Jackson, Lewis to Stop Hourly Billing of Associates’ Time

Beginning Jan. 1, the law firm Jackson Lewis will stop billing its clients by the hour for its 293 associates. So reports American Lawyer.

From now on, associates’ bonuses will be based on their managers’ assessments of their contributions and productivity.
