Tycoon Pleads Guilty to Beating Girlfriend, Avoids Prison

An Internet start-up mogul who was charged with 47 felony counts for repeatedly hitting his girlfriend in his San Francisco home has avoided prison time by entering into a plea deal. So reports CBS News.

The attack by the accused, RadiumOne founder and CEO Gurbaksh Chahal, had been captured in a video taken by cameras placed throughout his apartment. The video was ruled inadmissible after Chahal’s lawyers successfully argued that police had seized it unlawfully.
