Aaron Tyson, a convicted accomplice in a double murder, will get a new trial after his lawyer failed to object to the judge's jury instruction, according to an article from Bloomberg Law. The judged dropped the “mental intent” instruction, which requires prosecutors in Pennsylvania to prove accomplices must act with the same intent to kill as the principal murderer in order for a first-degree conviction. According to the article: “The judge in Tyson’s trial instructed the jury that a person is an accomplice if he intended to promote or facilitate a crime, the court said. But he didn’t say that Tyson had to intend to promote or facilitate the murders, U.S. District Court for the Third Circuit said.”

A judge in New York denied a request for a delay and ruled Eric Trump must answer a deposition from the state attorney general’s office before Wednesday, Oct. 7, according to an article from CNN.
