Tops Markets got the green light from the United States Bankruptcy Court to reorganize under Chapter 11. So reports WIVB.

Under the plan, which commenced in February, the company will be permitted to operate day-to-day. Tops operates 159 stores and is based in Williamsville, N.Y. Representatives from the chain said it expects to come out of the proceedings "shorty."
