May Labor Report: Legal Sector Losing Jobs

Despite strong gains across the board, the legal services sector lost nearly 200 jobs last month. So reports American Lawyer.

According to the U.S. Labor Department, the legal services sector includes lawyers, legal secretaries and paralegals, among other professions. In May, that sector accounted for 1,135,600 people in. Dating back to May 2017, the legal services sector is down around 1,000 jobs.
