Aviation Officer Who Infamously Dragged Passenger Off Flight Files Lawsuit

Former Chicago Department of Aviation Officer James Long, who was one of a number of officials involved in an incident with a United Airlines passenger last year, is suing the Department for not properly training him to deal with uncooperative passengers. So reports ABC News.

Long was one of the officers who dragged Dr. David Dao off an overbooked flight leaving from O’Hare International Airport. Long said he was unfairly fired, was slandered by Chicago Aviation Commissioner Ginger Evans, and is seeking “compensatory damages.”
