Johnson was said to have photographed the student and texted her mother asking for help because the student would not be quiet. The 26-year old student is only 62 lbs. and unable to speak.
The student also reportedly has cognitive disorders, seizures and the inability to move her arms and hands. The lawsuit claims taping the student's mouth shut was life-threatening and inhibited one of the only forms of communication for the student: facial gesturing. The suit will seek damages “easily into seven figures."
