Osama bin Laden’s Son-in-Law Loses Appeal, Will Stay in Prison

Suleiman Abu Ghaith, Osama bin Laden’s son-in-law, will continue to serve his life sentence after losing an appeal of his terrorism conviction. So reports Reuters.

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found Abu Ghaith was aware of al Qaeda's intention to kill Americans and planned to help, despite not knowing the exact details of any specific attack. The court also said Abu Ghaith’s encouragement of Muslims to attack Americans provided “material support” to al Qaeda.

Abu Ghaith is serving his time at a "Supermax" prison in Colorado.
