Mom of #TeamThree Drunk Driving Victim Files Suit Against Bar, Driver

Donna Juliette Ann Hall, whose son was killed by a drunk driver, is suing both the driver and the Rye, New York, bar where she was drinking from approximately 1 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. So reports the Journal News.

Hall's son, Robby Schartner, a Manhattanville College student was allegedly struck and killed by motorist Emma Fox after she left The Pub in White Plains. Fox was said to have been "visibly intoxicated" with slurred speech, difficulty walking and bloodshot eyes.

Fox was charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated and reportedly had a blood-alcohol level of 0.21 at the time of the accident. Schartner' death sparked a "global outcry" against drinking and driving and led to the popularization of #TeamThree, based on his lacrosse team uniform number.
